great blog! I love to give, nobody EVER leaves my home without being gifted some of my belongings…well, if they really object, i wouldn´t force anything on anyone!Mostly i give away clothes, plants and books.Last week, a friend of mine from far away came and stayed for a few days, she left with a book wich i´ve been wanting her to read, “Woman and Nature, the Roaring Inside Her” by Susan Griffin, and a mullberrie tree wich i planted from a seed a got one of the first times that we ever met. She left the mullberry in my care until next time, since she is on the move right now and unable to care for it properly.Yesterday my cousin came to dinner, and left with 5 potted plants;  tomatoes, pelargonium, goldenberry and a flowering fuchsia. Unfortunately i took no photos of these..I am (hopefully) moving to a smaller apartment very soon, just waiting for the ok.So i will be giving away loads of stuff, will try to submit some here!

Thanks for the submission! I’ve kind of left this blog to the weeds over the past year, since most of my posts were based on massive freecycling that I was doing prior to a cross-country move. Now that I’m in my new place, I haven’t gotten back on the freecycle bandwagon, although I do have some stuff I need to get rid of at this point.
I look forward to more submissions :)

    Submissions welcome.

    Hi there, everyone.

I’ve kind of slacked off with daily posting here. I have more photos of things I’ve given away, but I haven’t yet taken the time to sort and edit them. It’s a lot of work, and very easy to put off!

I’d be happy to take submissions of items you have given away. So far, I’ve only had one submission, from user ngc2168, who gave away some of her vinyl records to friends.

The only “rule” for submissions is that the item must be a belonging of yours that you have truly given away — not sold or traded, and not a gift you purchased for someone else.

It can be anything: an item of clothing you no longer wear that you gave to a friend, household goods you donated to charity, things you’ve unloaded on Freecycle.

I’m a bit of a packrat, and I have found that taking a photo helps me let go of things that have outgrown their usefulness to me. That’s why I started this blog.

    SUBMIT.
